Description
Combine the joy and adrenaline of a bike ride down the last original dirt trails in this valley with a visit to the first 2 Alcohuaz vineyards.
We start with a descent of approximately 3 km along dirt trails. Then we face a sustained climb of 500 meters until we reach the Piuquenes Vineyard with its unique Pedro Jimenez White Wines and delicious Late Harvest. There we proceed to a guided tasting of 2 glasses per person, where we discuss the characteristics of the vineyard, its Terroir and the wines to be tasted. Then we return to the bike for a 700-meter stretch of mainly flat road until we reach the Alcohuaz vineyards, with their wonderful range of premium high-altitude wines. Where the highest Carignan and Garnacha in the world are found, along with one of the best Syrahs in Chile, among other strains. An extreme landscape that gives life to wines with an extreme flavor, of great intensity and character. After this last guided tasting, we return by vehicle to our agency located in the center of Alcohuaz.
