Description
The origin of the highest tributary streams in our Valley is unique in the world. Recent studies led by CEAZA have concluded that these waters do not come from rain or snow, but from ancient ROCK GLACIERS.
A unique geological formation based on ancient glaciers that were buried underground since the ICE AGE, ancient waters that spring from the heights of our mountain range. Our only water reserves in these years of drought. Incredibly pure, frozen and crystalline water filtered by kilometers of Granite stone and whose flavor is delicious.
We offer a guided horseback ride to the source of one of our tributary streams around Alcohuaz. A beautiful ecosystem and oasis of life where fauna and flora converge more strongly than in the rest of the valley.
